CANBERRA -- Destabilisation efforts within the Abbott Government continued on Thursday with yet another leak of talking points instructing that “Cabinet is functioning exceptionally well".
Fairfax newspapers reported the confidential contents of the morning memo for the second day in a row.
Cabinet documents were also leaked to the Seven Network earlier this week.
The morning talking points, which varied little from day to day, originated in the Prime Minister's Office.
There was nothing explosive in the notes, but the move was clearly designed to make hay of Tony Abbott’s Cabinet order for party discipline earlier this week.
It also ignored Government Senate Leader Eric Abetz, who labeled government leakers as “gutless.”Suggest a correction
