There's nothing worse than hearing your friends rave about the newest fitness craze, only to miss out because you can't justify paying for it on top of the existing expensive gym membership you're already locked into.
Okay, so maybe there are worse things, but you #fitspo folk know the pain.
Gone are the days of just running on the treadmill, lifting weights or going for walks. Now there are more fun and unique exercise options than you can poke a pilates stick at -- and two Sydney-based women want you to try them all.
Georgia Van Tiel, an exercise scientist, and Carla McMillan, a yoga teacher teamed up to created Bodypass -- which works like a regular gym membership in that you pay a monthly fee ($99 to be exact) -- but the difference is that you have access to an array of gyms and fitness studios -- not just one chain.
Popular partners include F45 Training, XtendBarre, Hard Candy and Physicore, among others. Want to focus on strengthening your core on large air-filled pillows? Sounds like Waff is for you. Fancy yourself a bit of a rollergirl (or boy)? Try Rollerfit -- a class where seasoned skaters or total beginners can get fit.
“The unique thing about Bodypass is the ability to curate your own fitness and lifestyle program using the hundreds of classes and activities available -- ensuring fitness is diverse, fun and social," said Van Tiel.
Anyclass works on the same principle -- offering access to over 250 gyms and studios for $25 a week -- cementing the fact that Aussies are getting bored with limited options and are looking to broaden their fitness horizons.
Anyclass also boasts a one-stop-shop app for all class options, schedules and bookings.Suggest a correction
