Chinese dating show If You Are The One wants Australian contestants

In The Mood For Love? Blunt Chinese Dating Show Seeks Aussies

Forget The Bachelorette. The world’s largest and possibly most blunt dating show wants Aussie men to find love with them.

Cult Chinese dating show If You Are The One is partnering with SBS 2 to create two Australian episodes and they are recruiting 10 men and 18 women to head to China for filming.

For the uninitiated, the show puts single men in front of 18 women, who are collectively known as the ‘avenue of love’.

Through a series of often embarrassing and business-like questions, the women opt in or out of a date with him.

While men are often forced to leave the show with 'Failed To Get A Date' flashing across the screen, men who succeed in hooking more than one woman get to select their favourite, but not before asking decider questions such as, "What's your attitude to housework?" and "Would you make me go shopping with you for hours?'.

Anyone keen to find love and spill their past experiences is invited to apply here.
