New technology is unlocking the brains true potential but it has some questioning whether these advances are coming at a cost to our humanity.
Others, though, believe pushing the boundaries of technology is instrumental to evolution.
This film reflects both sides of that argument.
It looks at the current state of neuroscience. Inventions like a brain computer interface that help send messages from the brain to the movement of objects. An advancement giving disabled people the ability to bring control back to their lives.
Then there's technology that looks at whether we can backup our memories the same way we would the files on our computer.
But despite these advancements, it remains that the power of the human brain is still an enormous mystery waiting to be unlocked.
It also raises the question, how much do we want to intervene?
