When it was announced back in May that Rebel Wilson would be teaming up with plus-size clothing chain, TORRID to create her own capsule collection -- it was music to our ears.

After all, anything this woman touches turns to gold and while the world has come a long way in recent years thanks to an influx of plus-size non-sample size bloggers -- sourcing stylish clothes beyond a size 12 still happens to be a punishing task.

It was the perfect fit then that Wilson, who only a few months ago made a powerful body image statement at the annual MTV Movie Awards would bring us a collection inspired by her own experience with difficulty of finding stylish clothes that fit well.

“I've never really felt like there's a brand out there in the plus size world that is creating cool stuff, that fits well and is good quality yet affordable. It's really only been in the last few years that I've seen companies try,” Wilson said in a statement.

Keeping to her Aussie roots, Wilson included a koala print t-shirt amongst the 25-piece collection which includes tops, bottoms, jackets, dresses and accessories.

The “Fat Amy” star took to Twitter on Tuesday morning, thanking fans for “rebelutionizing plus size fashion".

Wilson joins fellow Australian Robyn Lawley and American model, Ashley Graham who are paving the way in the fashion industry -- both having launched swimwear and lingerie lines after struggling to find beautiful pieces that fit properly.

Graham, who recently launched her seventh collection for Canadian lingerie brand, Addition Elle, confirmed her self-described “body diversity ambassador” status after revealing she’d like to extend her range to cup sizes beyond a G and H.

TORRID have announced a Spring 2016 Rebel Wilson For TORRID collection is also in the works.
