Beauty addicts, you might want to be sitting down. For the first time ever, you can now purchase from Sephora online in Australia.

The giant global cosmetics retailer only has two Australian brick and mortar stores, both in Sydney (one in Pitt Street Mall and the other in North Ryde's Macquarie Centre), however as of 11am Monday customers can now purchase products online from an impressive range of exclusive brands including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Bite, Cover FX, Formula X, IT Cosmetics, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs, Nudestix, Ole Henriksen and Tarte.

The e-tail site launch comes at a time when makeup has never been more popular. The cosmetics industry has been transformed in recent years with the rise of beauty bloggers, vloggers and YouTubers, with homegrown talents such as Chloe Morello and Lauren Curtis making major waves internationally.

Melbourne will be getting its own retail store in late November, however the launch of sephora.com.au means that customers across the country can get their hands on previously inaccessible brands and products. The site will also offer expert advice and insider tips and tricks across skincare, hair and makeup.
