Actor Zooey Deschanel may have given her newborn daughter the middle name 'Otter' but no one has named the five otter pups settling in at Taronga Western Plains Zoo yet.
The litter of oriental small-clawed otter pups includes four females and one male, and they're learning about the world under the watchful eyes of mum Emiko and dad Pocket.
Cool names, huh?

Keeper Ian Anderson said there was a good chance of seeing the pups exploring the enclosure at the zoo in Dubbo.
“They’ve just had their first health check and starting to venture from the den to explore their surroundings,” Anderson said.
