"She said, 'It's f***ing about time you got here'," Faye Rogers explains as she translates a conversation between herself and her pet donkey.
You see, Rodgers says she has a very unique talent -- she can talk to animals.
"I do converse with my pets on a day-to-day basis and we chat about the most unusual things. I've had the lectures on American politics," she said.
Since Rogers was a child she said she'd been bombarded by messages from animals, which could sometimes be overwhelming.
"You go outside the birds are talking to you. You sit on the grass, the worms are talking to you," she said.
Recognising not everyone could talk to their pets, she started up her own business as an animal communicator to share the thoughts and feelings of a pet to their owner.
Or, as seen in this documentary above, to help reunite lost animals to their rightful homes.
This (human) client in the film said Rogers' skills brought her comfort.
"You're wonderful with what you do... I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you," the client could be heard saying.
Conversations With Pets is another stellar three-minute documentary funded by Loading Docs, a New Zealand based filmmaking initiative. You can see more from them by heading here.
