You Won't Regret That Tattoo

Will You Regret That (Rebellion-Inspired) Tattoo?

The outline of a woman writ large upon your back. The name of your current lover. A snake in a moment of (alcohol induced) wild abandon. A memorial of a loved one who has passed on.

In the moments leading up to that inked needle piercing your skin, it's as though there's never been a better idea in your life.

But once the markings have taken their place on your body for more time than a fad usually lasts, will you regret that tattoo?

This film talks to a handful of people reflecting on their youth and asks them about their tattoos.

Why did they get them, and are they still happy to see them?

Some were first inked at 17. Others at 68. Rebellion plays a part in almost all of their stories.

Directed by Angie Bird, you can see more from the filmmaker over here.
