Australian Ballet Chief Conductor Nicolette Fraillon -- Breaking The Glass Ceiling One Note At A Time

When Nicolette Fraillon reads music, she sees a world of colour come out from the pages. From a young age she was certain she would be an orchestra conductor.

To get there, she needed to thump on doors guarded by men. Men who questioned why a woman was trying to get through. Men who would greet her achievements with perplexity. "But, you're a woman?" they would say.
