There are three certainties in Australian life; death, taxes, and someone making a lame joke about how dangerous the infamously pointy ARIAs statues are.

Well, as it turns out, the fears were true, with a Sydney music manager needing medical care after dropping a box of the pyramidal awards on his foot.

As FasterLouder points out, Julian Marshall of management company We Are Unified -- which represents the likes of Illy, Vance Joy, Violent Soho and The Amity Affliction -- was reportedly the victim of a savage ARIA attack today at Melbourne Airport. Nick Yates, another manager with the company, posted the below image on Instagram today.

"What happens when you drop a box of ARIA Awards on your foot," Yates wrote, with the picture showing ambulance staff tending to a bloody foot.

With awards so spiky and pointy, it was only a matter of time.

But really, look how sharp this thing is!
