Chelsea supporters, eh? What a pleasant bunch. Last year the travelling English football thugs prevented a black man from boarding the Paris metro while singing "we're racist, we're racist, and that's the way we like it".
Yeah.
Now footage has emerged of a no less sickening situation at a restaurant in Munich in 2012 involving apparent Chelsea fans, in the days leading up to the Champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
As if the footage isn't shocking enough, the attitude of the bloke who posted it will just leave you gobsmacked. His Twitter handle is @AllfieNoah and judging by the eight blue love hearts accompanying his video, he seems to be very much enamoured of this video. Which, not to put too fine a point on it, is the sort of thing that makes you want abandon people forever and go live with a litter of fluffy kittens.
The above tweet shows a bunch of furniture being trashed by a very threatening mob of so-called "fans". The footage is both frightening and disturbing. But there's a worse one. It's the one in the tweet below.
In this video, an exasperated restaurant employee tries to reason with the mob, which is a little like trying to talk a pack of rabid dingoes out of a kangaroo carcass.
While the Chelsea mob sings "We are Chelsea, we do what we want", the hapless employee is taunted and even pushed. At one point he approaches a fan, who swiftly strikes him in the jaw. And then the video ends.
Although Chelsea is today an affluent area in London's south west, the club's fans were traditionally among the worst behaved in the league, a tradition which apparently remains unchanged today.
Chelsea Football Club responded to the Paris incident last year by banning those responsible. Some of the perpetrators also faced criminal action upon their return to the UK. It's not yet clear what will happen to the Munich mob. Chelsea Football Club has not yet made a statement in response to the footage.
