It’s been a pretty big one in music news this week. First Rihanna dropped her eighth album, then there was the Twitter blow up between Kanye, Wiz and Amber Rose but leave it to Drake to end the week on a positive note.

The Canadian rapper shared a series of naww-inducing posts as he celebrated his mother’s birthday on Friday.

First, he posted a video to his Instagram account of his mother, Sandi Graham blowing out candles on a pretty impressive flower-topped cake with the caption “I do this all for you. Happy birthday my angel.”

I do this all for you. Happy Birthday my angel.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Drake and his mother’s downright gorgeous relationship. A quick listen to just a few of his songs will tell you he loves her more than anything.

In fact, his track "You & The 6" from his latest album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late is a touching tribute to Sandi, who raised him as a single mum. Another track, "Look What You’ve Done" from his earlier Take Care album is also dedicated to her -- and will probably make anybody with a heart cry like a baby.

The artist went on to share another picture showcasing a chuffed Graham with her two-tier cake.

We nuh beg gyal cake...buy we buyyyyyyy

Finally, he shared one more video to his 18.4 million followers -- a clip of his mum and uncle with a caption that makes light of the possibility they’ve probs had a few too many flutes of champas -- he is Champagne Papi, after all.

“My uncle and my mom TT right now,” the artist wrote.

We'll just leave you with this adorable pic because it really doesn't get sweeter than this.
