Love. Ain't it grand? It comes in all shapes and sizes, and no two loves are the same.

The Huffington Post Australia celebrates love in all its forms with the How We Met series in the lead up to Valentine's Day.

Evie Blake, 4.5, and George Marsall, 3

How long have you been together?

George: Since we were little.

Evie: I have had a crush on George since I met him. I am older than him but that’s ok.

How did you meet?

George: Our mums are best friends. We both love dolls and all things pink. She was surprised that I wasn’t one of those boys who only likes to play with cars and dirt. We've been play date-ing ever since.

Evie: My mum and George’s mum are friends. We invited them over for a play date. It was love at first sight for me. I am not sure if George knows we are together. I ask my mum all the time about when George and I will get a house together, when we will get married and when we can have our own babies.

What drew you to them?

George: She knows all the words to Frozen.

Evie: George is cool but plays hard to get. He likes cars, we like to sing Frozen songs together and I jump on his trampoline and he jumps on mine.

What do you like most about them?

George: Evie is very good at getting our babies to sleep so we can watch Toy Story.

Evie: We don’t say much to each other but we like to hang out and watching movies. We are good company together.

What is your favourite memory?

George: Evie and I got married on our last play date. It was her idea. She was already dressed when I arrived. She just told me where to stand. She suggested we go fishing in her dam for our honeymoon. My mum said any girl who wants to spend her honeymoon fishing is a keeper.

Evie: Last time George came to my house I dressed up in a beautiful dress so I could marry him. I even had a honeymoon bag packed so he could take me away.

Evie packed her post-wedding bag, ready for their honeymoon.

What is your secret to long lasting love?

George: A boy should always pack the toys away.

Evie: Share good times together, like eating lollies.

Young love
