Prince fans, hold onto your raspberry berets.

The musician has on Friday announced via his Twitter account that he is bringing his Piano & A Microphone tour to Australia and New Zealand this February.

Four years since his last visit, we're already getting ready to don our Diamonds and Pearls and head to the concert in our Little Red Corvette (okay that's cheesy, but we're excited).

Tickets aren't on sale yet. We know because we keep Googling.

And just to whet the old appetite, here's the Artist Formerly Known As just bloody wailing on the guitar in a rendition of While My Guitar Gently Weeps alongside Tom Petty and George Harrison's son at the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Get here, now.
