Man Jumps In With 5-Metre Great White Shark In Narooma

Fisherman Jumps In For A Swim With Bloody Big Great White Shark

When a 5-metre great white shark cruised by some big-game fishing boats off Narooma, one man stuck his hand in to film it, but another went a giant leap further.

As the calm giant cruised around the boat, spear fisherman Tim Knight jumped in the water to swim with it.

Knight told 7 News he was scared and excited.

"I've always said, if I can find one in clear water I'll jump in, I've got to just jump in and see it for myself," Knight told 7 News.

"I though he was smaller. I looked at him and went...that *****'s big."

Yes Knight, it is ***** big.

Maybe next time stay in the boat, huh?
