This Groom Loves KFC So Much He Took His New Bride For A Pic

When you’ve just had the wedding of your dreams with your high school sweetheart, a pitstop at KFC might be just the ticket... for some.

At least, this was the case for Louis Davis who struck a compromise with his new wife, Ashleigh after tying the knot in Whangarei, New Zealand on Saturday.

In exchange for her big, traditional Cinderella wedding -- he got to mix things up in the photo stakes and get a picture at his favourite fast-food joint.

"I've always had a special relationship with KFC so it made sense," Davis told the New Zealand Herald.

"I knew we were going to take the classic, cheesy photos. She had the team of photographers, team of videographers to get the classic shots. But I knew the photos that are crack up and the ones you look back on are where you're doing something different," Davis said.

Da-dum-da-daa

So, following the ceremony and prior the reception the newlyweds and their wedding party pulled into a nearby KFC to take the above snap on Davis’ phone.

Under the gaze of Colonel Sanders, the happy couple are pictured smooching with some pretty chuffed groomsmen and some slightly apprehensive maids onlooking in the background.

The picture, simply captioned “Yeah…” has gone viral with almost 2000 shares and over 10, 000 likes.

Davis told the Herald his new wife was a “good sport” about the whole thing.

We’re pretty certain fried chicken lovers everywhere can agree she’s a keeper.
