A man has died and at least four others have been stabbed during a fight in Sydney's south west overnight.

Police said they were called to an address at Howitt Place, Bonnyrigg, on reports of a stabbing just after 11pm Friday.

When they arrived officers found at least 5 men with "serious stab wounds and fractures."

All the injured men were rushed to hospitals in the area.

One of the stabbed men, aged in his 20s, later died at Liverpool Hospital, police said.

"Police from Fairfield Local Area Command have established a crime scene on Howitt Place, with local investigators and police from State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad making inquiries," police said on Saturday morning.

They said no further details regarding the incident and victims were available.
