New Zealand are up to bat after Australia went all out for 562 with a first-innings lead of 379.

Yesterday was a big day for Australian batsman Adam Voges. First, he brushed aside a record held by Sachin Tendulkar, then he dared to surpass the 99.94 batting average of Sir Donald Bradman.

Earlier on day two of the first trans-Tasman Test against New Zealand at Basin Reserve, Wellington, Voges eclipsed a record previously held by the highest ever Test runs scorer, bettering Tendulkar for the most Test runs between dismissals.
