30 People Reportedly Onboard A Bus Rollover Near Whitsunday Coast

Two helicopters have rushed to the scene of a reported bus rollover with 30 people onboard near tourism spot Airlie Beach in Queensland.

An RACQ Central Queensland Rescue spokeswoman told The Huffington Post Australia about 15-30 people were reportedly onboard the bus near Chute Harbour Rd and multiple people were injured.

The spokeswoman said the RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter was enroute with two intensive care paramedics and a doctor while another helicopter owned by Emergency Management Queensland happened to be nearby and was also on its way to the scene.

Early reports from The Courier Mail say three people were being transported to Proserpine Hospital with head and arm injuries.
