Meet Bounce. He's the young, fun-loving kelpie below who has spent the last 12 months of his life moving from shelter to shelter, waiting for someone choose him as an addition to their family, big or small.

The RSPCA have put Bounce up for adoption for just over $300, and maybe the price tag has been holding Bounce's future parents back.

But they need to wait no longer, as Bounce and every other animal finding respite in RSPCA shelters across New South Wales will cost just $29 for four days over February.

In an effort to Clear The Shelter, RSPCA NSW is dropping the adoption fee of every animal in the ten shelters and two care centres across the state over the leap year weekend, from February 26 to 29.

"We have 428 animals currently up for adoption and ready for a home," RSPCA NSW spokeswoman Jessica Conway told The Huffington Post Australia.

"This is the first time we will be clearing every shelter right across the state."

Puppies, kittens, dogs and cats are up for sale while rabbits, guinea pigs and birds among others will be given to loving homes for free. And every pet is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

So when puppies under one year old usually cost $370, and dogs up to eight years old cost $310, how could you say no?

Here's just some of the furry faces you could take home for a bargain over the leap year weekend.
