Australia's national women's football team, the Matildas, beat Japan 3-1 overnight in an important Rio Olympics qualifier. They'd beaten them before but never in Japan.

But if you think the Matildas were good on the field, wait'll you see their form on the team bus. This will give you goosebumps. It might even put goosebumps on your goosebumps.

This is what it's all about! One down, four to go!Bring on Vietnam on Wednesday.

The song is an adaption of The Celtic Song, the anthem of Scotland's storied club Glasgow Celtic which has also been adopted in various forms by English Premier League Clubs Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

We especially love the impromptu call and response at the end:

Was it one?

Was it two?

Was it three?

Yeahhhhhhh! Here we go, here we go, here we go etc.

Here's the first of the goals.

Football aficionados will of course know the significance of a 3-1 scoreline by Australia over Japan. Back in 2006 in Kaiserslauten (a name that always makes us feel like eating hot dogs with sauerkraut and a side of coleslaw), the Australian men's team had its first ever FIFA World Cup victory with a 3-1 win over Japan. It was a huge day.

But this match meant just as much to the Matildas. Rio qualification is not easy. Just 12 teams will play in Brazil. To make it, Australia must finish first or second in a six team qualifying tournament that includes numerous world powers. Japan won the women's World Cup in 2011 and were finalists in 2015. That's how big this win was.

Here's the goal that sealed it. Well played, Matildas, both on the field and the bus. And good luck with the rest of the Rio quallies.
