Cayla Dengate, Associate Editor.

"I would die without Madhur Jaffrey's Ultimate Curry Bible. Also, Matthew Evans's Kitchen Basics taught me everything I know. Oh, and Tagine by Ghillie Basan. The preserved lemon and green olive chicken tagine is beyond words."

Bella Westaway, Associate Blog Editor.

"Sarah Wilson's Simplicious is my favourite. She has delicious mid-week meals which take 20 minutes and are stacked with veggies. Also, it's all about not wasting food, using leftovers and sustainability, which I love. And I have never ever had a dud recipe."

Leigh Campbell, Lifestyle Editor.

"I love The Broadsheet Sydney Cookbook! Ghillie Basan's Tagine is a great one, too."

Emily Blatchford, Associate Lifestyle Editor.

"I like a lot of Sarah Wilson's I Quit Sugar dinner recipes. I also have my own Taste.com.au cookbook -- I have printed out the recipes I have tried and liked and put them in a folder. No dud recipes because you know you like them all!"

Tory Maguire, Editor-in-chief Australia.

"I use Taste.com.au a lot, too, and Stephanie Alexander's The Cook's Companion is so good when you have some random lonely leeks in the crisper and don't know what to make with them."

Julia Naughton, Associate Lifestyle Editor.

"I love cookbooks by Jamie Oliver because he uses minimal ingredients and it's not too fancy! I also use recipes from Australian Women's Weekly and Simply Nigella.

"I adore Teresa Cutter’s The Healthy Chef website, too. Her recipes are largely vegetarian, but you’d never know because they are so delicious! Her naked fish taco recipe has been a favourite of mine for some time. Fresh mango, coriander, avocado and fish inside a crispy pocket of iceberg lettuce -- magnifique!"

Courtney Fletcher, executive assistant to CEO and Editor-in-chief Australia.

"I like anything Jamie Oliver because they're generally easy, especially the quick 30 minutes meals ones. I use heaps of his recipes from the Woolies website and add the ingredients needed to my shopping bag.

"I also really like The Healthy Life by Jessica Sepel for healthy food. I love making her sides for dinners as they are tasty in their own right beyond my usual steamed broccoli or roast sweet potato. And I like Taste.com.au because it's easy to plug in anything and it gives so many options!"

Anthony Sharwood, Sports Editor.

"My go-to cookbook is Simple Chinese Cooking by Kylie Kwong. Every recipe is easy -- if you have rice wine, light soy sauce and oyster sauce in the cupboard, you're set for life!"

Happy cooking.
