To commemorate the life of former First Lady Nancy Reagan, a change.org petition urges that Fetty Wap's 'Trap Queen' is the most fitting funeral song.

But firstly, who is Fetty Wap? And what the hell is a trap queen?

The name could be mistaken as fetta wrap, but for those who are 25+ years old, Fetty Wap, or Willie Maxell II, is an American hip hop artist. At the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, Wap took home the ‘Artist to Watch’ Moonman for his famous hit ‘Trap Queen’.

An internet search found an array of definitions for ‘trap queen’:

  1. A bomb-ass female.
  2. Loyal, respectful, and wise women. Both street smart and book smart. Respectful to her family and friends. Loyal to her lover. She has style and admires many haters but considers them fans.
  3. A girl who is dumb enough to risk her life guarding a trap house for her drug dealing boyfriend that doesn't give a f**k.

But, in an interview with MTV, Wap said there was a lot more to the expression.

"Everybody doesn’t have the same trap queen. Everyone can have their own trap queen."

"There is the way I use it in the song, but my mom is a trap queen. She held us down and she was a queen at doing it," Wap said.

Reagan -- who passed away on March 6 at 94 years old -- was renowned for her "Just Say No" campaign as well as backing her husband's charging 'war on drugs'.

However, the petition explains:

"While her husband, Ronald Reagan, was linking up with Papi to flood the streets with narcotics, Nancy was on TV telling kids to "Say No To Drugs". Her infamous "anti-drug" phrase encouraged strict laws on drug possession that led to a school-to-prison pipeline we're still dealing with now. Blacks and Latinos went to jail in droves for possessing drugs her husband gave them."

The petition goes onto label Reagan as "the most famous Trap Queen in American history".

In more recent years, the Reagan's drug war in the 80's appears to have backfired. Close to 50 percent of Americans have tried marijuana and the legal purchasing of the drug -- in four states -- is booming.

The petition wants "to usher her [Nancy Reagan] to a better place...where she's probably cooking pies with her baby".

Note: Cooking pies doesn't actually mean cooking pies.
