He's Casino Mike to most youth longing to party in King's Cross again, but Mike Baird is Michael to Alan Jones.

And Jones used the Premier's full name -- time and time again -- to berate him over the lockout laws on Friday morning which he claims are "destroying the city".

"Michael Baird doesn't like it being said, but Michael Baird I'm saying to you, you came in with high hopes, you got a thumping majority and the perception is you're completely out of touch if not very pig-headed and stubborn and defiant", Jones said on his 2GB radio program.

But the shock jock didn't stop there.

"This is political bullying and Michael Baird is one of the biggest bullies we've ever put into Macquarie Street."

The lockout laws aren't the only policy Jones and the Baird government are butting heads over. As The Sydney Morning Herald pointed out, the state governments mining policy -- particularly in expanding coal seam gas areas -- and possible plans to merge councils around the state are policies Jones publicly detests.

Regardless, it doesn't seem like Jones' attack has bothered Michael too much. He was all smiles in Parramatta on Friday afternoon in the company of the prime minister.

There's never been a more exciting time to have coffee in Parramatta.

And while Jones and young left-wingers don't see eye to eye on most issues, the radio king has presented a more Liberal (with a capital L) side to himself this week.

On Monday night Jones declared he was a feminist on national television after Minister for Women Michaelia Cash wouldn't label herself one.

The shock jock also said on the Q&A program that people still had a problem with formidable women.
