Following her attempted suicide on Tuesday, Grammy-nominated artist Kehlani Parrish has spent the week in hospital recovering -- but that’s not to say she’s safe from the cruel wrath of rapper Chris Brown.
On Wednesday, Brown posted a series of Twitter rants that appear to attack the 20-year-old R&B singer and claim that her attempted suicide was merely a cry for sympathy.
“There is no attempting suicide. Stop flexing for the gram. Doing s--- for sympathy so them comments under your pics don't look so bad,” Brown wrote.

Parrish had previously been the target of online abuse after rumours surfaced that she’d cheated on her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers player Kyrie Irving, with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, known by the stage name "PartyNextDoor".
Brown who is friends with Irving posted to Instagram on Tuesday appearing to console Irving.
Meanwhile, people on Twitter have expressed their outrage over Brown’s insensitive rants -- while highlighting the fact that sadly, there are grown humans who subscribe to the irresponsible thinking that downplays the seriousness of mental health and suicide.

Chris Brown is no man. He's a pathetic excuse for a little boy. Depression and mental illnesses are real and they need to be taken seriously— Sarah (@SaDanyShea) March 30, 2016
