Woman Rejects $1000 Cash On The Today Show

It's Really Difficult To Watch Someone Turning Down $1,000 Free Cash
Today Show

What would you do if someone approached you on the street and offered you a thousand bucks?

It seems like a pretty obvious answer: take it and run!

But that didn't quite happen on the Today Show on Tuesday morning when weatherman Stevie Jacobs approached a young woman with a wad of green notes as part of the morning show's 'Random Acts of Cash' segment.

The woman who Jacobs targeted did the exact opposite of what you'd think -- she appeared anxious and confused and waved away the weatherman and the stack of cash.

"It's real money!" Jacobs called after her.

A man watching the encounter from a bench close-by quickly relieved Jacobs and snagged the $1,000 up for grabs.

"That is a first, I have never seen that before," Jacobs said.

Well that's a first! This woman REJECTED $1000 in Stevie's Random Acts of Cash! Luckily, the bloke Stevie spoke to next will put it to good use! #9Today
