Doughnut Time Is Releasing Three Mouthwatering Limited Edition Doughnuts For One Day Only

Feast Your Eyes On These Flippin' Incredible Doughnuts, But Be Quick: They're Only Available For One Day
Doughtnut Time

Just when you thought doughnuts couldn’t get better, Doughnut Time just had to release these morsels of pure decadence.

To celebrate their first birthday (hip hip hooray!), the brand invited 20 of Australia’s most talented and creative professional bakers to decorate six Doughnut Time original glazed doughnuts in the most whimsical and droolworthy ways imaginable.

It was a difficult task to select the best (which we all no doubt wish we could have helped out with), but Doughnut Time Head Chef Kylie Simpson judged all creations and narrowed them down to three winners.

“Who the heck won and where can we get our filthy hands on them?”, we hear you ask. Well, here they are. Three exquisite, outrageous doughnuts -- and the places where we can stuff our faces with them.

Winner One -- Elisa Pietrantonio of Elisa Pie (NSW)

In true Aussie style, Elisa Pietrantonio created a Lamington doughnut made with coconut flakes, sweet strawberry jam, whipped cream, fresh raspberries, meringue kisses and topped with edible gold leaf. It’s a little bit fancy, yet completely inhale-able.

This doughnut will be exclusively available at Doughnut Time Central Park, Chippendale in Sydney on Saturday, Apr. 16.

Winner Two -- Amie Milton of Whipped Cake Co (QLD)

Amie Milton, the chef behind Whipped Cake Co, created a take on one of the most underrated Australian chocolate treats, Golden Rough. Milton’s Golden Rough Doughnut is practically art gallery worthy. This masterpiece is glazed with dark chocolate and carefully decorated with dark chocolate coconut rough pieces, coconut chips and a golden chocolate sail. Diets have officially ended just looking at this.

The Golden Rough Doughnut will be available exclusively available from Doughnut Time South Bank, Grey Street in Brisbane on Saturday, Apr. 16.

Winner Three -- Eugene Yamin of Dishin It Out (VIC)

Rocky Road lovers, this creation by Yamin of Dishin It Out will have you weak at the knees. Like an epic chocolate dream, Yamin has created a Choc Fudge Rocky Road Doughnut -- topping the original glazed doughnuts with a majestic tower of soft marshmallow, roasted peanuts, Nougat crumble, pop rocks strawberry-flavoured popping candy and a dark chocolate drizzle. They had us all at “Nougat crumble”.

This doughnut will be exclusively available from Doughnut Time Degraves Street in Melbourne on Saturday, Apr. 16.

The three doughnuts will be available to purchase from the selected stores for $12 each, while stocks last.
