Celebs. You can love 'em or you can hate 'em, but fact of the matter is, either way you're probably going to hear about 'em.

What they wear, who they date, and, perhaps most interestingly, what they have to say.

From Kanye's latest Twitter rant to Leo's eloquent Oscar acceptance speech , a good celebrity quote can range from insightful to ditzy to just plain nuts.

Here are some noteworthy examples from this year (so far).

Justin Bieber on his pet monkey:

"Just gotta make sure I got a house and it stays in the f***ing house. I'm not gonna bring him to Germany or travel with it anymore. People are always like, 'Why did you get a monkey?' If you could get a monkey, well, you would get a f***ing monkey, too! Monkeys are awesome."

Jennifer Lawrence on her Golden Globes dress (and where she draws the line):

"That was my plan-B dress. Plan A was a dress that I couldn't wear because awards season is synced with my menstrual cycle, and it has been for years."

"[The red one] was loose at the front... And I didn't have to worry about sucking anything in. The other dress was really tight, and I'm not going to suck in my uterus. I don't have to do that."

J-Law in her Plan B dress (and, no doubt, Plan A award.)

Jessica Alba on sticking to her guns:

"I'm in a man's world in business. But I know what women want β€” [men] don't … Whenever [male colleagues] question me in meetings, I'm like, 'Go home and ask your wife. This is a pointless conversation. Go home and talk to her.' When we were talking about package designs, I was like, 'Are you really giving me notes on packaging for feminine care? I literally can't with you.'"

Prince William on keeping it real as a dad:

"As far as we're concerned, within our family unit we are a normal family. I love my children the same way any father does and I hope George loves me the same way any son does to his father, so we are very normal in that sense. There'll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in the world. But right now, it's just a case of keeping a secure, stable environment around him and showing him as much love as I can as a father."

Mariah Carey on her 35 carat engagement ring:

"It's so heavy I can't lift my arm up! It's a nice chunk."

A "nice chunk" indeed.

Kylie Jenner on 2016:

"I feel like every year has a new energy. And I feel like this year is really about like, the year of realising stuff. Everyone around me, we're all just realising things. 2016, looking good."

Rob Thomas gets offensive on drinking:

"I've been doing it for so long, I've got the jet lag figured out. What you do is, when you get on the plane on your way here, you start drinking. And then I drink until I think I'm Australian, and I keep drinking until I think I'm a black Australian."

Adele on the very real experience of Girl Power:

β€œPeople always think I joke about this, but the Spice Girls blew up when I was seven. And seeing them coming from a humble background -- there was hope in it. It was really a massive part of my life when the whole Girl Power thing happened.”

Chrissy Teigen on relationship goals:

"I think it's really sweet and also shows me that dating must be really hard out there now because sometimes he will do, like, the simplest thing and people will be like 'GOOOAALS' and I'm like, oh my gosh, is it that rough out there? I mean, obviously, he's so wonderful and he takes such good care of me and it's amazing to me that some of these 'goals' could be just eating pizza in bed. Like, you can have that. That's easy."

Kanye West on... everything:
