When the call went out for aspiring choreographers to put their hand up to take their work to the Australian ballet's biggest stage, Alice Topp decided to take on the challenge.

Topp, a seasoned performer in her on right, is now showing her latest work Little Atlas -- a contemporary piece exploring the 'stories and scars' that shape our lives.

Featuring Rudy Hawkes, Kevin Jackson and Vivienne Wong and music by Ludovico Einaudi, Little Atlas runs as part of Symphony in C at Sydney Opera House until 14 May.
