Aussie Catches A Fish That Caught A Snake -- Oh My!

Reckon the snake caught a fly?

Australia has only one defence against the hordes of international tourists keen on clogging up our beaches and bushlands -- terrifying animals.

You think twice about travelling to a country that is home to 21 of the 25 most venomous snakes in the world, and fishing on our fair shores won't seem so relaxing after seeing what this angler pulled in -- a cod with a snake coiled inside its mouth.

In the video, fisherman Andy Warton can be heard saying: "This is what you get when you're a wild man on top of Australia" before spitballing a new type of fishing lure shaped like a snake.

Warton told The Mirror he made the lucky catch near Darwin and that the snake was still alive.
