Protesters are calling for disciplinary action to be taken against the students behind the 2014 Wesley Journal which labelled women "hoes" and published student hook-ups.

More than a dozen men and women united outside Wesley College at 6pm on Monday night, calling for the names of the publication's editors to be released to the university and the public.

The college made headlines in early May after female students said they were being humiliated and defamed in the publication, which dedicates a section to The RackWeb -- pages publishing the trail of female college students' sexual relationships.

Female students were also awarded with the "Best Ass", "Kinkiest Collegian" and "Best Cleavage" among others. The student who slept with the most men was crowned with the title "Mrs RackWeb".

University of Sydney Women's Collective Officer Anna Hush said the group is protesting for mandatory sex and consent training to reduce sexism and further prevent sexual harassment on college grounds.

"With this protest, we're demanding that the Master of Wesley College Lisa Sutherland name the people responsible for Wesley Journal 2014 which had the RackWeb in it," Hush told The Huffington Post Australia.

"We think these names should be made available to the University [of Sydney] so the university can take disciplinary action and send a message that sexism and sexual harassment are not appropriate."

On Wednesday Sutherland released a statement to Fairfax condemning the publication and distancing the college's involvement.

"Wesley College has absolutely no involvement in the editorial content, production or distribution of the journal," said the statement.

"The Student's Club has apologised for the content of the 2014 journal and has agreed that the journal will no longer be published. There will instead be a Wesley College Students Club Yearbook that will not contain any material outside the academic, cultural and sporting pursuits of the students."

Other derogatory commentary included within the publication -- which was published in 2015 --included profanities labelling female students "bitches" and "hoes".

"[First year university students] have a willingness to put out for their seniors and for enabling all the hook-ups a sleazy, pussy-hungry adolescent could dream of," the journal stated.

"We might be sexist, but you lovely bitches and hoes should know we're trying to correct this."

An investigation into the publication has been launched by The University of Sydney.
