Makeup brushes and sponges are great tools to use, especially if you're going for a sculpted beauty look à la Kim Kardashian. But they take up so much space in our cosmetics cases and somehow are always dirty when we need them most. That's why we've slowly started to ditch makeup brushes and go back to basics with finger-friendly makeup.

Using your fingertips to put on face makeup isn't a new concept. Professional artists often prefer this method because it allows them to "warm up" the product, making for a more natural finish. You also get better control during application and are less likely to waste product. Just make sure to start with clean hands to avoid spreading dirt and acne-causing bacteria!

Below are 13 products that will make it really easy to do your makeup without using a set of makeup brushes.

Top Row (from left to right):

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid, $28. Dab on this green-toned corrector to instantly conceal red and irritated skin before applying your foundation or concealer.

Cover FX Correct Click, $18. Don't be fooled by the shape of this color-correcting makeup. Its cream formula makes it easy to target yellow, sallow complexions without leaving behind harsh lines.

Chosungah 22 Hidden Foundation, $38. This mini puff, filled with foundation, is nothing short of amazing. It releases just enough product so that you can cover up uneven areas on your face without going overboard.

Surratt Beauty Real Skin Foundation Wand, $65. With the brush already attached to this tube of foundation, you can simply pop it into your handbag for touch-ups throughout the day.

Maybelline Eyestudio Brow Drama Pomade Crayon, $8.99. It delivers bold pigment with a not-so-stiff crayon that also glides unruly brow hairs into shape.
