Bird brains
It took 12 days but we finally got a wacky protester in a silly animal costume. Someone dropped in on the Prime Minister when he visited Launceston, calling for more protection and attention for Swift parrots.
A pug's life
Colourful senator David Leyonhjelm has released what we reckon is easily the weirdest ad of election 2016, where he gets two pugs (representing "Mal" and "Bill") to eat a cake, meant to represent superannuation. Check out our story here.
