People Are Getting Around Guy Sebastian's 'Like A Version' Cover

We like it like that.

For some time now Guy Sebastian has managed to slowly break away from his Idol days: there was a duet with Jordin Sparks, a new 'do and of course, becoming a finalist in last year's Eurovision.

Despite all of this, the artist has struggled to move from shiny popstar to cool hip-hop dude though, triple j's "Like A Version" segment on Friday morning may have just changed all that.

Joining forces with Australian producer PACES, Sebastian covered LDRU's "Keeping Score" and successfully kept people's attention for a solid three minutes.

Aside from totally killing it on the keyboard, Sebastian delivered some seriously soothing vocals leaving triple j listeners almost speechless.

The feedback, hugely positive and evident in the 2000-plus shares proves Sebastian may well be onto something here.

The comments reached peak 'Straya when one user touched on Sebastian's Idol runner-up (and everybody's favourite living meme) Shannon Noll.

"Nollsy robbed again not to get the call up," he wrote.

So #TeamGuy or #TeamNollsy? It's a question for the ages.
