The Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party was in Queensland to help turn up the heat in LNP candidate for Blair, Teresa Harding's campaign.

Bishop's day not only ended up on the Willowbank Raceway, which is 45 minutes west of Brisbane, but on the hockey field for a game with children in Michelle Landry's electorate of Capricornia, north of Brisbane.

But the Foreign Minister stepped away from the fun on Wednesday afternoon to address the serious DFAT matter regarding the shootings outside a university in Papua New Guinea which you can read all about here.
