How should one celebrate breaking the record for most Twitter followers? Sleepover? Waking up in Vegas? Setting fire to an effigy of Taylor Swift?
Katy Perry had all three options at her disposal on Friday, July 1, when Twitter announced she had broken a new record by having 90 million followers.
For reference, that's more followers than Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall and Kris combined.
"It's party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we're gonna need a really big dance floor
," the official Twitter account posted alongside a photo of Perry and celebratory emojis.
"Dang this is tight," Perry responded with the smiling face with sunglasses emoji.
Later that night, the "Roar" singer revealed how she commemorated the occasion in peak Kathy Beth Terry fashion: a night alone with a nose pore cleaner strip.
