Ivanka Trump, the daughter of presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, speaks at the opening of his Turnberry golf course, in Turnberry, Scotland, Britain June 24.

“He always told me and showed me that I could do anything I set my mind to if I married vision and passion with a work ethic,” she said. “He’s also surrounded me with strong female role models who have done just that since I was a little girl.”

The businessman has claimed he's the better candidate for women, saying he "broke the glass ceiling" for women in the construction industry. He has also said he'd be better than presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on women's health issues, claiming the former Secretary of State "doesn't have a clue."

As Fox News host Megyn Kelly pointed out during an August GOP debate, Trump has called women he doesn't like "fat pigs," "dogs," "slobs" and "disgusting animals.” His anti-woman comments have been well-documented; you can see a sample of them here.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liarrampant xenophoberacistmisogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
