Two men charged with a series of horrific child sex offences were extradited from Victoria to face court today.
An investigation into child exploitation material allegedly created in NSW's Central West region near Bathurst led police to the arrests in Victoria.
Police will allege the men, both aged 50, sexually assaulted a 10-month-old girl at her home near Bathurst in April 2015.
The first man was also charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, and charges relating to producing, disseminating or possessing child abuse material.
The second man was also charged with sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, the use of a child under 14 years to make child abuse material, and the use of a carriage service to access child pornography, solicit child pornography and to transmit child pornography.
Both men appeared in a Victorian court where extradition to NSW was granted and they were expected to appear at Waverley Local Court on Thursday.
Anyone with concerns about suspected child abuse or exploitation should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
