Two men charged with a series of horrific child sex offences were extradited from Victoria to face court today.

An investigation into child exploitation material allegedly created in NSW's Central West region near Bathurst led police to the arrests in Victoria.

Police will allege the men, both aged 50, sexually assaulted a 10-month-old girl at her home near Bathurst in April 2015.

The men were arrested after a joint investigation between NSW and Victoria police as well as the State Crime Command's Child Abuse Squad.
