So. You've either been living under a rock or you're aware of the fact Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are supposed to a head-over-heels-in-love, totally legit, non-staged couple by now.

Here they are canoodling, alongside Blake Lively and seemingly none-too-impressed hubby Ryan Reynolds and Taylor's childhood friend, Britany LaManna and her partner at Swift's annual epic Fourth of July party.

And here they are strolling hand-in-hand through Rome late last month.

So. There you have it. Message received, guys. You're together.

And now Aussies have a chance to witness this rare love blossom before their very eyes, as both members of Team Hiddleswift landed in Australia early on Friday morning.

Word on the street is Swift is accompanying Hiddleston while he films 'Thor: Ragnarok' (directed by the very excellent Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi, but, we digress) on the Gold Coast.

(Haven't heard of the Gold Coast? Don't feel too bad. You can find out all about this "isolated" city in Vanity Fair's recent Margot Robbie profile, as well as lots of fun and totally true facts about Australia, like how we all watch 'Today' in the mornings and "still live and die with the plot turns of soap operas in Melbourne and Perth." Ugh. HOLLYWOOD WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU!!?)

Anyway. Back to HiddleSwift.

Despite the overwhelming photographic evidence, not everyone is sold on the legitimacy of this loved-up pairing. After all, historically, Swift tends to drop a new album once every two years, and if that timing is anything to go by, we are just about due for (at the very least) a new single release.

Or is she channeling Beyoncé's 'Lemonade' genius and creating an extended piece of performance art?

Who knows. Hey, at the end of the day we could all be wrong and they could just be head over heels crazy in love.

Guess we'll just have to watch this (blank) space.
