Discount supermarket ALDI is recalling hot dog buns after metal shavings were found in the bread.
The six-pack Bakers Life Hot Dog Rolls with a best before of July 14 are being recalled in New South Wales and Canberra.
ALDI apologised to customers on social media, saying the store "takes product quality and safety seriously".
ALDI takes product quality and safety seriously and wishes to advise all customers of a recall of Bakers Life Hot Dog Rolls 6 Pack product with the Best Before date of 14 July 2016. The product has been available for sale in ALDI stores in ACT and NSW.
The recall is due to the potential presence of foreign objects (metal shavings) in the product. Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund. We apologise for any inconvenience.
