You guys. It appears Hiddleswift might be an actual, real-life, non-publicity-stunt relationship.
That's according to Tom Hiddleston, anyway, who recently broke his silence on the affair in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Hiddleston, who is currently in the Gold Coast filming 'Thor: Ragnarok', was talking to the publication about his recent Emmy nomination for 'The Night Manager' (which is very exciting, and we should probably take time out to congratulate him at this point).
But the real take-away from the piece wasn't his excitement at being nominated or about how much he enjoyed playing Jonathan Pine.
It was this:
"How best to put this? That notion is -- look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."
So, there you have it. Apparently all this lovey-dovey, hand-holdy, t-shirt-wearing business has not been part of an extended piece of performance art a la Beyoncé's 'Lemonade'. It's L-O-V-E.
And we know at least one person who is not happy about it.
Taylor Swift's ex, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, has not been taking the news particularly well, especially since Swift's management recently confirmed she wrote Harris' summer hit 'This is What You Came For.'
"I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym," Harris tweeted shortly after the statement was made. "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though."
He continued: "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

He also stated he would not allow Swift to "bury" him like she did "Katy", and by that we can only assume we're talking about Swift's infamous feud with Katy Perry, supposedly the inspiration for her hit song 'Bad Blood'.
Perry looks to be having a massive 'I told you so moment' herself, with the 'Roar' singer tweeting this reaction GIF of Hilary Clinton:

As well as re-tweeting an old Tweet of hers which reads: "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
So! What can we take from this latest morsel of Hollywood gossip?
1. Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are apparently dating, for reals.
2. Calvin Harris is not happy.
3. Katy Perry is.
4. Oh, and Hiddleston has been nominated for an Emmy. Well done, him.
