Diane Kruger and Pacey Witter Joshua Jackson have split after 10 years together.
A representative for the actress confirmed the news to The Huffington Post via email on Monday. A statement was also released to People magazine, reading, “Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends.”
The news comes just after Kruger, 39, moved to New York to live with Jackson, 37, shutting down breakup rumors that swirled earlier this year. The two also owned houses in Paris and Vancouver.
Kruger and Jackson started dating in 2006 after the “Inglourious Basterds” actress separated from Guillaume Canet, to whom she was married for five years. Kruger has been quoted saying her marriage taught her that she doesn’t necessarily believe in it.
“I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart,” she told Glamour in 2011. “There’s no paper that will make you stay.”
Jackson expressed a similar sentiment to Us Weekly in 2012, explaining that there wasn’t “any particular push” to tie the knot.
