UPDATE: Lady Gaga confirmed her split from Taylor Kinney with photo she posted on Instagram on July 20.

Though the couple have gone their separate ways for now, Gaga urged fans to root them on. This leads us to believe the split may not be forever.

“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break,” she wrote. “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

PREVIOUSLY: No poker faces here: We’re devastated.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have called it quits, People confirms. The Huffington Post has reached out to the stars’ reps, who have yet to release an official statement.

The normally PDA-heavy couple of five years haven’t been seen on each other’s social media pages or at events lately. Gaga and Kinney began dating shortly after appearing together in the singer’s “You and I” music video.

Kinney hasn’t tweeted since his birthday on July 15, with his previous missives being about his popular television show, “Chicago Fire.”

Gaga has recently sent tweets about Nice, Dallas and Orlando, but no words on her presumably former beau.

TMZ noted that the 30-year-old pop star has also been seen without her engagement ring several times.

Despite being engaged since Valentine’s Day 2015, the two had not announced when they were tying the knot. No word yet on whether Gaga will return the enormous heart-shaped ring Kinney gave her when he proposed.

The pop star is currently in Cabo and rumored to be releasing a new album by the end of this year.

Eh, eh, there’s nothing else we can say.

Correction: This post originally included a photo of Lady Gaga wearing her engagement ring that incorrectly indicated she wasn’t. It has been removed.
