PHILADELPHIA ― Comedian Sarah Silverman has a strong message for supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) who say they won’t vote for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“To the Bernie or bust voters: You’re being ridiculous,” Silverman said while speaking at the 2016 Democratic National Convention on Monday.

“They told us to stretch, so I figured I’d add that,” Silverman said to Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), who stood next to her on stage at the event.

Silverman made the comment after calling for unity in her speech, saying “a vital part” of the movement inspired by Sanders’ campaign is making sure Clinton is the next president. Silverman backed Sanders over Clinton in the primary, saying she had “more in common with” the Vermont senator.
