You're about to get a massive stack of new emojis to make you go 😃, with iPhone makers 🍎 releasing plans for 💯 new symbols overnight.

👨 and 👩 across the world eagerly await new additions to the emoji keyboard, and Apple has just let loose news of their newest inclusions which will be part of the new iOS 10 system. Recent updates have tried to make the emoji universe more inclusive, by adding characters of more diverse racial and gender identities, and it seems this latest update continues this trend.

"Apple is working closely with the Unicode Consortium to ensure that popular emoji characters reflect the diversity of people everywhere," the company said in a statement.

"More than one hundred new and redesigned emoji characters will be available to iPhone and iPad users this Fall with iOS 10. This exciting update brings more gender options to existing characters, including new female athletes and professionals, adds beautiful redesigns of popular emoji, a new rainbow flag and more family options."

No longer will the "family" options be limited to just 👨‍👨‍👦 or 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦 or variations on such, with the new emojis including single parents. As part of the 💯 new inclusions, users will also be presented with female cyclist, female weightlifter, female detective, female construction worker and female swimmer.

In addition, we've got an extra inclusion in the 🚩🚩🚩 category -- the rainbow flag, for the LGBTI community. The new 🍎 update also updates the firearms symbol, replacing 🔫 with a green plastic water pistol.
