One unexpected duo won gold at this year’s Olympics — at least in our eyes.

Moana, Disney’s first Polynesian princess, and her demigod partner-in-crime, Maui, captured our hearts again in a new TV spot released Sunday during the broadcast of the Olympic Games.

The new trailer further confirms Moana, voiced by native Hawaiian actress Auli’i Cravalho, will be one of the fiercest princesses yet.

Besides being the cutest baby princess who grows up to be strong and independent, Moana is also tenacious, refusing to take “no” for an answer when she recruits Maui on her mission to save the world.

In the fast-paced trailer, Maui warns Moana of the dangers that will stand in their way — including a gigantic lava monster. But in true heroine fashion, the princess is convinced that nothing can stop her.

Along with stunning animation, the trailer also features amazing vocals from Broadway’s “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who celebrated the release of the new trailer by treating the world to some a cappella Disney tunes on Instagram Sunday.

While we won’t be able to watch Moana and Maui’s adventure in its entirety until the movie is released Nov. 23, we’re going to savor every single drop of Moana that we can get our hands on until then.
