'It’s so unfair.'

Blake Lively is ready to feed those “post-baby body” commenters to the sharks.

The actress appeared on Sunrise Australia in a video posted Monday to promote her movie “The Shallows,” which debuts in Australia next week. But the conversation quickly changed from discussing the movie’s lethal sharks to talking about another ruthless predator: Hollywood tabloids.

“It’s so unfair. It’s so celebrated: ‘This is what someone looks like after having a baby.’ And I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing,” Lively said on the pressure to get back in shape so quickly after giving birth.

Lively prepared for her role with endurance training. However, the 28-year-old’s main goal was not perfecting her bikini bod but physically preparing for the role which she said was “as much a physical challenge [as] it was an acting challenge.”

The post-baby body debut is a phenomena that plagues all famous new moms, from Kate Middleton to Kim Kardashian West ― who chose to stay inside for months after giving birth to baby North to avoid being photographed by the paparazzi. Kardashian is currently in the process of losing weight after the birth of her second child, which she constantly documents on Snapchat while she attempts to get to her goal weight of 120 pounds.

“You don’t have to have be Victoria’s-Secret–ready right away. You’ve just done the most incredible miracle that life has to offer,” said Lively.

Victoria’s Secret models like Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima are notorious for making unbelievably fast returns to the runway, with Klum walking in the annual VS Fashion Show just five weeks after giving birth to her fourth child. Lively, however, wants to change the conversation by focusing on celebrating the birth instead of the woman’s body.

“You gave birth to a human being. I would really like to see that celebrated,” she said.
