The Wild Exhibition is currently on display at Melbourne Museum -- a collection of more than 600 animals from around the world, some of which have been part of the museum's collection for more than a century.

To complement the display, Etsy has partnered with the museum (the largest in the southern hemisphere), with a collection of one-of-a-kind handmade jewellery, accessories and homewares, available for sale.

The Australian first collection launches on Monday the 15th of August and includes the works from more than 20 Etsy sellers from across the country. Etsy also teamed up with fashion bloggers Jess and Stef from How Two Live who curated their favourites pieces into a styled shoot.

Etsy's Managing Director for Australia and Asia, Helen Souness, believes the collection reflects a passion for discovery and creativity shared by Melbourne Museum and Etsy's Australian community of makers.

"We're delighted to be working Melbourne Museum and our local creative community to bring the Wild exhibition to life through tangible products that Etsy buyers can wear or adore within their home. It's also exciting to see our makers' work showcased in the Museum's retail space and the work of small creative businesses celebrated by one of Australia's most significant museums," Sounsess said in a statement.
